The Nightwatch
This print was inspired from visiting homesteads deep in the woods of ranch lands in Alberta. This image recalls the story of ranchers keeping a watchful eye out for predators throughout the night.
Living a simple life, Ranch hands would often travel far and wide in order to migrate grazing cattle to new pastures throughout the year. Camping under the night sky or taking refuge in cabins in the woods in winter is a natural way of life during that trek.
