Tartan Angels is a design idea that first came along in 1992. I've revisited this idea over the years because it's one that I love and it's fun to do. The theme of Scottishness is a subject area that I'm drawn to quite frequently.

This particular design was created using a multi-block printing process. The process allows me to use each block for each colour. I can then change the colour and make alternative versions on a whim. Details such as the plaid pattern on the dresses or the colour of the Angels hair

demonstrate examples of this withing this edition.
